Nathaniel Clyne is an English professional footballer with extensive experience in the English Premier League and EFL Championship, with both youth and senior appearances for the England national team.

After spending the best part of 4 years, Nathaniel made it through the academy at Crystal Palace FC and turned professional in 2008 at 17 years of age, going on to play four seasons in the incredibly competitive EFL Championship. During the 2010-11 season, Nathaniel was the youngest player in the entire Football League to participate in every match of the campaign, and went on to receive Crystal Palace’s Player of the Year award.

In 2012 Nathaniel made a significant step in signing for Southampton FC where he spent three seasons in the Premier League, making 104 appearances. His positive performances caught the attention of Liverpool FC, who purchased Nathaniel in 2015. After amassing 103 appearances he left Liverpool FC in 2020 and re-joined his former club Crystal Palace FC, where he is currently playing in the Premier League.

Nathaniel has not only had success in domestic football, but he also made a senior international debut for England in November 2014 and was selected for Euro 2016. He currently has 14 senior appearances for his country to date.
